![]() There is also a way to walk here through terminal C from Terminal E, Logan’s international terminal. It’s closest to budget carrier Spirit’s gates, but also accessible for Alaska, United, American, Southwest, Aer Lingus, Jet Blue, TAP and Air Canada passengers, though it can be a walk. This connector just opened in summer of 2022, eliminating the need to re-clear security when going between terminals. It sits in the connector hallway between terminals B and C, near Gate B39. The location is a bit funky, almost hidden, and makes the lounge primarily for those seeking it out, rather than foot traffic, but this should also help keep it less crowded, an issue that has greatly plagued the American Express lounges in recent times. The Lounge is tucked away in a little visited part of the airport. It was pretty empty when I visited, and it’s hard to imagine the whole place filling up, though I’m sure it will. ![]() ![]() Two attractive check-in desks greet guests off the elevator, and especially by today’s standards, the lounge was very well staffed, from food service to cleaning. There is a small wellness area with elaborate massage chairs and fancy shower suites. The bathrooms are clean and modern and very nice for an airport. It is very airy, with lots of glass looking out onto the airport, and has all sorts of seating options, from dining tables to high tops to cushy chairs and couches, a couple of secluded living room-style spaces, and seating at the bar. There is a lot of space (approaching 12,000 square feet) broken into several different rooms with different feels. Physically the Lounge is gorgeous, modern and sleek but cozy, with upscale finishes and furnishings, but it helps that is all shiny and new. In this vein the lounge features local craft beers on tap, locally roasted coffee, and the décor is a subtle, not overstated, nod to Beantown, with images of rowing on the Charles River, Red Sox memorabilia and city maps on the walls. There are fun touches like cold brew coffee on tap, and like the American Express Lounges, Chase partnered with a local chef for hometown flavor (Douglass Williams with two Boston restaurants). The new Sapphire Lounge has a lot of little but elevated touches.
